Nippon Paint has announced an upgrade to its Weatherbond Advance exterior emulsion, now incorporating Quartz Technology and offering a 12-year warranty. Weatherbond Advance, a product with a long history in the Asia Pacific region, was first introduced to India’s exterior emulsion market in 2010 with Lamination Technology. In 2017, the product was further developed with Heat Ban Technology.
The latest enhancement includes Microcrystalline Quartz Technology, which strengthens the paint’s durability, providing 2X toughness against extreme weather conditions, fading, and cracking. Additionally, the product features ‘Sun Block Technology,’ which reflects 90 per cent of solar light, reducing surface temperatures by up to 7°C.
Weatherbond Advance is designed to meet the diverse climatic challenges across India, offering protection against salt corrosion, strong winds, temperature fluctuations, UV exposure, and pollution. The product is also formulated with ultra-low VOC content, ensuring a safer environment.
Produced in Nippon Paint’s GreenCo Gold-certified facility and certified with the GreenPro eco-label by IGBC, the product aligns with sustainability standards. The extended 12-year warranty reflects Nippon Paint’s focus on long-term performance and reduced repainting cycles.
