Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV), the Indian arm of Daimler Truck AG, has entered into a strategic alliance with Gainwell Trucking Pvt Ltd (GTPL), part of the Gainwell Group. As an authorized channel partner, GTPL will focus on the sales and after-sales support of BharatBenz mining trucks, with a special focus on the flagship 3532CM (8×4) model.
This collaboration aims to solidify BharatBenz’s footprint in major mining states across North, East, and Northeast India, including key territories like Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat. GTPL will cater to diverse mining segments such as coal, iron ore, and limestone, as well as the related logistics ecosystem.
A key highlight of this alliance lies in its robust after-sales infrastructure. GTPL will offer preventive maintenance, scheduled service programs, on-site repairs, and express service support to ensure minimal operational disruptions. Their extensive spare parts inventory, spread across strategic mining belts, is expected to accelerate turnaround times and boost vehicle uptime for customers.
