GMMCO India inaugurates advanced service and supply hubs in Nagpur

GMMCO India, a CK Birla company, has inaugurated fully operational service and supply hubs at Butibori and Hingna, Nagpur. These integrated facilities are designed to enhance repair, rebuild, and parts distribution capabilities, catering to customers across Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, and Goa. The facilities were inaugurated by Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari.

Spread across 14 acre, the Butibori and Hingna hubs offer advanced service infrastructure, comprehensive component and machine rebuilding, and a high-efficiency parts warehouse. The Butibori MRC facility, spanning 10 acre with a 1,40,000 sq ft built-up area, includes a Hub Warehouse managing over 30,000 line items, processing 45,000 transactions per month. Equipped with a Digitalized Warehouse Management System (WMS), it ensures 24-48 hour parts delivery, improving equipment uptime. The facility also has a stockyard with a 100 machine capacity, a rebuild/repair capacity of 150 machines and 750 hydraulic cylinders annually, and an assembly capacity for 24,000 hydraulic hose assemblies per year.

The Hingna CRC facility, covering four acres with a 74,000 sq ft built-up area, features a Component Rebuild Centre and Engine & Transmission test benches. It has the capacity to rebuild or overhaul 750 engines and 400 transmissions annually. Additionally, its NABL-accredited SOS Lab can test 2,10,000 used oil samples, supporting condition monitoring and preventive maintenance.

At the launch, Chandrasekhar V, Managing Director, GMMCO India, stated, “This is a proud moment for us. Our vision is to provide the right service to our customers in the shortest possible time, and the Butibori and Hingna facilities will help us achieve this goal.”

With these new facilities, GMMCO India aims to enhance equipment longevity, minimize downtime, and support sustainable development in key sectors like mining, construction, energy, and transportation, strengthening its presence in Central and Western India.
