Greaves Cotton Ltd has announced the appointment of Parag Satpute as its new Managing Director and Group Chief Executive Officer. In this leadership role, Satpute will be responsible for steering the strategic direction and operational execution across the company’s key business units—Greaves Engineering, Greaves Retail, Greaves Technologies, and Excel Controlinkage Pvt Ltd. He will focus on accelerating growth and reinforcing the organisation’s mission of ‘Empowering Lives’.
Satpute brings with him nearly three decades of extensive experience in the mobility solutions and manufacturing sectors, having held senior leadership roles in both Indian and international markets. Prior to joining Greaves Cotton, he was President of the Fleet Business at Bridgestone Mobility Solutions. His previous assignments include serving as the Managing Director of Bridgestone India, where he spearheaded a transformative business overhaul, and a distinguished tenure at Sandvik lasting over 20 years, culminating in his appointment as Managing Director and Chairman of the Board (Subsidiaries) for India.
