Future Market Events will organise Metal Forming Expo (MFE) and India Fastener Show (IFS) 2026 as part of India Production Technology Week (IPTW), bringing together over 650 exhibitors and more than 50,000 buyers from across the manufacturing ecosystem.
The events are scheduled to take place from 9–11 April 2026 at the Pune International Exhibition and Convention Centre (PIECC), Moshi, Pune.
As global supply chains continue to evolve and India strengthens its position as a key manufacturing hub, industry platforms that move beyond product display to demonstrate capability and enable partnerships are gaining increasing importance. India Production Technology Week (IPTW) aims to serve as one such platform for India’s manufacturing sector.
With participation from over 650 exhibitors, MFE & IFS 2026 will showcase a wide spectrum of production technologies. These include CNC and machine tools, robotics and automation, sheet metal fabrication, metal forming, metrology and quality control, welding and stamping solutions, additive manufacturing and 3D printing, fasteners and fixing technologies, as well as digital manufacturing software solutions.
A major highlight of the event will be live technology demonstrations, where machinery and production systems will operate across the exhibition floor. This will allow visitors to observe technologies in action and evaluate their real-world applications.
In addition to the exhibition, the event will feature a two-day conference programme on 9th and 10th April, bringing together leading experts from India’s engineering and manufacturing sectors. The conference will host discussions involving industry leaders who are actively shaping the future of manufacturing at the intersection of human expertise and technology. Conversations will also extend to the exhibition floor through structured buyer–seller meetings and live networking interactions.
Anuj Mathur, Managing Director, Future Market Events, said,
“India Production Technology Week brings the Indian manufacturing industry together to shape its future. By convening technology providers, manufacturers, and industry stakeholders on one platform, we aim to foster meaningful dialogue, collaboration, and innovation. In April 2026, that conversation will take place in Pune.”
Alongside the exhibition, a series of conferences and seminars will bring together industry leaders, technologists and policymakers to discuss key themes such as the adoption of Industry 4.0 technologies, automation in the MSME sector, and building resilient manufacturing supply chains. Open House sessions scheduled during the three-day event will further extend discussions onto the exhibition floor through buyer–seller meetings and industry networking engagements.
India Production Technology Week is supported and endorsed by more than 40 industry associations, reflecting broad institutional participation across the manufacturing ecosystem. Supporting organisations include the Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI), Society of Automotive Engineers India, SME Chamber of India, Deccan Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture, and the All India Association of Industries, among others. Representing diverse geographies, sectors and enterprise sizes—from large OEMs to micro enterprises—the coalition highlights strong industry interest in building a home-grown platform for production technologies. Government bodies and relevant ministries are also being engaged to encourage dialogue between policy and industry at IPTW 2026.
The host city Pune is widely recognised as one of India’s major engineering and manufacturing hubs, home to automotive manufacturers, precision component suppliers, defence manufacturers and a strong MSME base. The Pune International Exhibition and Convention Centre (PIECC), Moshi, provides the infrastructure required to host an event of this scale.
