In a strategic move aimed at fortifying its organizational structure for the impending growth trajectory, the Board of Directors of Jindal Stainless Ltd (JSL) has greenlit the appointment of Tarun Khulbe as the Chief Executive Officer & Whole Time Director. The decision was endorsed during a recent board meeting, where Khulbe’s exceptional leadership skills, strategic vision, and unwavering dedication to core values were acknowledged.
JSL, poised on the brink of a significant expansion phase, has witnessed Abhyuday Jindal, the Managing Director, stepping into an augmented role focusing on the strategic vision of the company. Abhyuday will continue to serve as the Whole Time Director, a position he has held since May 2018, overseeing corporate affairs, sales and marketing, strategic initiatives, and subsidiaries.
With an illustrious career spanning approximately 35 years, Khulbe, an industry veteran, has played a pivotal role in steering JSL towards profitable growth. Having served in various capacities during his nearly two-decade tenure with the company, he garnered a holistic understanding of operations, business development, supply chain management, people practices, and IT enablement. Notably, under his leadership, JSL successfully executed both its latest and previous expansion endeavors. Khulbe was instrumental in orchestrating the operational turnaround of JSL’s Jajpur facility, a key factor in the company’s subsequent financial revival.

Khulbe’s journey with JSL commenced in 2004 as a General Manager for the Cold Rolling Mills at Hisar, Haryana. His comprehensive exposure and leadership skills led to subsequent promotions, culminating in his latest role as CEO and Whole Time Director. Prior to joining JSL, Khulbe began his career with Raymond Steel, later merged into ThyssenKrupp, accumulating rich and varied industrial experience across India and Germany. He is an engineering graduate from MITS, Gwalior, and holds an MBA from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai.
