JK Tyre & Industries has partnered with EKA Mobility. The collaboration, which also involves equity partners Mitsui Co Ltd (Japan) and VDL Groep (Netherlands), marks a significant advancement in providing ‘Connected Mobility Solutions’ through a first-of-its-kind cloud-based monitoring system.
The long-term agreement was formalised in Pune with the presence of key figures such as Sanjeev Sharma, AVP, Fleet Management & Mobility Solutions, JK Tyre, and Vijaykumar Yelne, President, EKA Mobility.
As part of this partnership, JK Tyre will supply EKA’s fleet with a new generation of EV tyres equipped with Connected Treel Sensors for real-time monitoring. This innovative approach ensures comprehensive tyre management, enhancing the performance and safety of EVs. JK Tyre has also dedicated a team of experienced professionals to provide continuous support at depots and enroute assistance, beginning with the currently deployed fleet in Mumbai and extending to other cities nationwide.
