Kirby Building Systems doubles capacity at Halol Facility in Gujarat

Kirby Building Systems India has expanded its manufacturing capacity at the Halol facility in Gujarat, bringing the total pre-engineered steel building (PEB) capacity at the site to 100,000 MT per year. This milestone marks a significant boost in output since the facility’s original inauguration in February 2023, effectively doubling production within a year. This expansion increases Kirby India’s total annual production capacity across its three facilities—Halol, Hyderabad, and Haridwar—to 300,000 MT, with each location now supporting an output of 100,000 MT.

Equipped with state-of-the-art fabrication technologies, the expanded Halol facility includes CNC Laser Cutting, CNC Plasma Cutting, CNC Drilling, and CNC-Controlled Laser Guided Welding machines. These advancements enable Kirby to offer high-quality, precision-engineered steel products with swift turnaround times, supporting timely project completion for clients.

Additionally, Kirby’s Halol site holds the distinction of being the world’s first PEB manufacturing facility to receive Platinum Rated Green Building Certification, underscoring the company’s commitment to sustainable construction practices. This green certification aligns with Kirby’s broader goal of promoting eco-friendly building solutions in line with India’s growing sustainability initiatives.
