Kirby Building Systems & Structures India Pvt Ltd, a flagship company of Alghanim Industries, Kuwait, has inaugurated its new Centre of Engineering Excellence in Hyderabad, Telangana. The facility, with a seating capacity of over 550 professionals, will serve as the company’s corporate office, housing sales, marketing, and engineering functions.
The inauguration was attended by senior leaders from Alghanim Industries, including Mahmoud Samara, CEO; Dirk Kahl, CFO; Jesper Berg, CHRO; D. Raju, Head – Kirby International; and P. V. Mohan, CEO – Kirby India, along with other senior leadership members and engineering teams from Kirby India.
During their visit, the Alghanim leadership team engaged with Kirby India’s senior functional heads to discuss growth strategies, market leadership in India, and approaches to address challenges in a competitive business environment. The programme also included visits to Kirby’s Hyderabad and Halol manufacturing facilities, where the team reviewed ongoing Kaizen initiatives.
Spread over 40,000 sq ft, the new centre is designed as a modern and collaborative workspace to support Kirby’s growth plans in India and other global markets. More than 400 structural designers and detailers will operate from this hub, utilising advanced design and drafting software such as MBS, STAAD.Pro, Bocad, ETABS, Tekla, AutoCAD, 3ds Max, and Smartest, among others.
The Centre of Excellence underscores Kirby’s market leadership in India for over 25 years and builds on nearly five decades of global expertise in the steel construction industry. It marks a significant step in the company’s commitment to innovation, engineering excellence, and sustainable, customer-focused solutions. Kirby aims to leverage this facility to set new benchmarks in the pre-engineered building (PEB) sector and shape the future of construction.
