Knauf India has expanded its manufacturing capabilities with the inauguration of a new Metal Line at its Khushkhera plant in Rajasthan. The addition of this advanced production line has doubled the facility’s overall output, reinforcing the company’s commitment to strengthening local manufacturing and meeting the growing demand for high-performance drywall and ceiling solutions in India.
To mark the milestone, Knauf organised a Dealer Engagement Day at the Khushkhera plant, bringing together dealers, partners, and members of the company’s leadership. The engagement initiative combined technical demonstrations with interactive sessions, highlighting Knauf’s focus on innovation, collaboration, and sustainable industry practices.
Guests were first taken through a guided plant tour, showcasing the new Metal Line’s production capabilities. Led by Knauf’s safety and operations experts, the tour highlighted the advanced technology deployed within the facility, as well as the company’s emphasis on stringent safety standards and operational excellence.
The newly introduced production line integrates sensor-based inspection systems, precision roll tooling, and real-time quality control. These enhancements aim to ensure product accuracy and consistent quality while reducing material waste during assembly. The move reflects Knauf’s continued investment in technology-driven manufacturing and its strategy to improve product performance for the Indian market.

The expansion at Khushkhera forms part of Knauf’s broader strategy to scale its manufacturing network across India. The increased capacity is expected to enhance supply efficiency while supporting a wider portfolio of drywall and ceiling solutions tailored to domestic demand.
