Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has announced the elevation of Subramanian Sarma from Wholetime Director & President, Energy, to Deputy Managing Director & President. The company’s Board of Directors has also extended his term, subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming AGM.

A Chemical Engineering graduate with a Master’s from IIT Mumbai, Sarma brings over 40 years of experience, including three decades in the Middle East, where he has handled the complete Oil & Gas value chain. Since joining L&T’s Board, he has played a pivotal role in expanding the company’s Energy portfolio, establishing it as a global leader in EPC contracting.
