Mahindra Logistics Ltd has bolstered its footprint in Maharashtra’s thriving industrial heartland with the launch of a sprawling, state-of-the-art warehousing facility in Phaltan. The facility, covering over 3 lakh sq ft, is now operational as a dedicated site for Cummins India.
Strategically positioned near Pune with seamless access to key highways and manufacturing zones, the facility is tailored to support Cummins India’s end-to-end supply chain. The new hub is designed to streamline inbound and outbound logistics, improve inventory visibility, enhance last-mile delivery capabilities, and support agile manufacturing processes.
Phaltan’s rise as a logistics and manufacturing hub adds strategic value to the initiative, enabling Mahindra Logistics to provide holistic services—from site identification and greenfield development to unified manufacturing and distribution operations.
The facility not only enhances operational agility and cost efficiency for Cummins India but also reflects a shared commitment to sustainability. Operated on renewable energy, it incorporates solar panels and advanced water treatment systems. More than 500 employment opportunities will be created, offering a significant boost to local communities.
