Noida International Airport has forged a concession agreement with Bird Group, marking a significant stride towards ensuring top-tier ground-handling resources and services at the airport. This strategic alliance aims to elevate the overall passenger experience by streamlining ground-handling activities with utmost efficiency. Bird Group brings over five decades of expertise to the table, along with an extensive aviation services portfolio spanning 21 airports across India.
In accordance with the agreement, Bird Group assumes a broad spectrum of responsibilities for the ground handling project, encompassing a comprehensive suite of services geared towards enhancing traveller satisfaction. This encompasses a seamless passenger reception, smooth ramp operations, and meticulous attention to baggage handling, all geared towards fostering an environment of efficiency and passenger contentment.
Aligned with the airport’s commitment towards achieving net zero carbon emissions, Bird Group pledges to transition all ground service equipment (GSE) to electric-powered alternatives, thereby contributing to the reduction of the airport’s carbon footprint and fostering sustainable operational practices.

Noida International Airport envisions a fusion of Indian warmth and hospitality with Swiss technology and efficiency, culminating in a modern, user-friendly design inspired by India. The initial phase of the airport will boast one runway and one terminal, capable of accommodating 12 million passengers annually. Upon the completion of all four development phases, the airport’s capacity will expand to cater to 70 million passengers per year.
