SJVN Green Energy has bagged a 200 MW wind power project entailing an investment of Rs 1,400 crore in a tariff-based competitive bidding process conducted by Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI). The project will be developed by SJVN Green Energy anywhere in India through the EPC contract, at a tentative cost of Rs 1,400 crore. The project is expected to generate 578.16 million units (MU) annually, while the cumulative energy generation for 25 years would reach about 14,454 MU.The Power-Sell Agreement (PSA) will be executed once the Letter of Intent is issued by SECI. As per request for solution (RfS), the project will be commissioned in a timeperiod of 24 months from the date of signing of PSA.The commissioning of this project will potentially reduce 7,08,246 tonne of carbon emissions, and contribute to the Centre’s objective of overall reduction in carbon emissions.
