In a groundbreaking move, Tata Motors has launched the Turbotronn 2.0 engine, marking a significant leap in technological prowess and setting a new benchmark for excellence in the trucking industry. The cutting-edge engine is poised to revolutionize the 19-42 ton truck segment, catering to a diverse range of applications in rapidly growing sectors such as e-commerce, logistics, parcel, and courier services.
Designed to address the specific needs expressed by customers, the indigenously-developed Turbotronn 2.0 engine is not only highly fuel-efficient and reliable but also offers an enhanced driving experience. Its engineering excellence is geared towards delivering robust performance, thereby lowering the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for fleet operators.
The Turbotronn 2.0 engine has undergone rigorous testing, covering over 30 lakh km and 70,000 cumulative hours across diverse duty cycles and challenging terrains. Fully compliant with the BS6 Phase 2 emission norms, this platform-agnostic engine is seamlessly integrated into the Signa, Ultra, LPT, and cowl platforms, assuring versatility for various truck models. Tata Motors stands by the quality of their product, offering a commendable warranty of 6 years/6 lakh km.
