VECV Partners with Statiq to Strengthen EV Charging Infrastructure

VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Statiq to enhance the adoption of Eicher’s electric vehicle range, particularly the newly launched Eicher Pro X series of Small Commercial Vehicles (SCVs). This strategic collaboration aims to offer a seamless and accessible charging experience for Eicher truck and bus customers across India.

As part of the partnership, Statiq will provide VECV customers with access to its expanding network of over 8,000 charging points from leading Charge Point Operators (CPOs) on its aggregated platform. This initiative is expected to simplify and improve the efficiency of the charging process for commercial EV users.

Statiq will also serve as one of VECV’s preferred partners for the supply and installation of AC and DC chargers, ensuring a dependable and hassle-free charging solution. The companies will further integrate Statiq’s network with VECV’s industry-first connected fleet management platform – the My Eicher app. This integration will provide real-time visibility of charging stations, intelligent navigation assistance, and tariff transparency.

To drive greater EV adoption, VECV and Statiq will introduce promotional offers and preferential tariffs for Eicher electric truck and bus operators.

Abhishek Chaudhary, Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing – Small Commercial Vehicles, VECV, stated, “Our partnership with Statiq marks a significant step forward in strengthening the EV ecosystem for commercial transportation in India. By offering an integrated solution to customers through the industry leading MyEicher App, we aim to deliver a hassle-free and reliable experience to our customers. This collaboration will also empower Eicher Pro X electric customers with enhanced convenience, confidence, and operational efficiency, accelerating the shift towards sustainable transportation.”

Akshit Bansal, CEO & Founder, Statiq, commented, “Our partnership with VE Commercial Vehicles is a milestone in our journey to create a strong and efficient EV charging ecosystem for commercial vehicles in India. By integrating our expansive charging network with VECV’s MyEicher, we aim to provide users with a seamless, tech-driven charging experience that removes barriers to EV adoption. With this initiative, we are committed to enabling a smoother, faster transition to electric mobility for commercial vehicle operators.”

The collaboration will also focus on building a comprehensive support ecosystem that includes call center access, service ticket management, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance services to ensure uninterrupted operations. A dedicated Point of Contact (PoC) system will be implemented to streamline coordination.

Additionally, Statiq will map and highlight charging hubs with adequate infrastructure and parking space through the My Eicher app, catering to customers across various product segments. The partnership will also execute turnkey projects covering installation, operations, and maintenance of charging stations, while exploring shared infrastructure, mobile charging options, and revenue-sharing models for partners hosting charging stations.

This strategic alliance between VECV and Statiq is poised to significantly boost India’s commercial EV landscape by making charging infrastructure more efficient, accessible, and reliable, thereby accelerating the country’s transition to sustainable transportation.
