Ceigall India secures Rs 214.52 crore Bihar Stone Mining Project

Ceigall India has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) from the Government of Bihar’s Department of Mines and Geology for the allotment and leasing of stone blocks in Nawada district. The project, awarded through competitive bidding via an e-reverse auction, has a cumulative value of Rs 214.52 crore, excluding GST and other applicable taxes.

The project covers Lot-4 at Bhadokhara, Block-D, and involves the mining of stone blocks from the designated mine block. The project has a minable reserve of 4,19,300 cubic metres per year, translating to 20,96,500 cubic metres over the five-year period.

The annual consideration is Rs 28.82 crore, with a 20% increase each year during the five-year period. The LoI was issued by the Bihar government on September 28 and received by Ceigall India via email on September 29, 2026.

The order is a domestic project and does not constitute a related-party transaction. Ceigall India had earlier emerged as the highest bidder for the project in the e-reverse auction conducted by the Department of Mines and Geology.
The new mining project adds to Ceigall India’s presence in Bihar, where the company is also involved in major road infrastructure projects, including the Danapur–Bihta elevated corridor and associated road improvements.
