Tata Steel Colors brings Colorcoat pre-painted steel range to India

Tata Steel Colors Pvt Ltd (TSCPL) has introduced its Colorcoat® range of pre-painted steel products in India, combining European coating expertise with technology tailored to the country’s climatic conditions. The launch expands the company’s building-envelope portfolio at a time when infrastructure and modern construction are placing greater emphasis on durability, design flexibility and long-term performance.

Developed for hot and warm climates, Colorcoat® is designed to deliver lasting colour and gloss retention, corrosion resistance, cut-edge protection and scratch resistance. The range also focuses on thermal performance and sustainability, while offering a selection of colours and finishes to support diverse architectural requirements. Drawing inspiration from nature, the collection seeks to balance visual appeal with the demands of long-lasting building exteriors.

The products will be manufactured at Tata Steel Colors’ facility in Jamshedpur, with the company responsible for their distribution and marketing in India and overseas. The manufacturing strategy is intended to bring globally established coating technology closer to domestic customers while also serving international markets.

Commenting on the launch, Praveen V. Thampi, Managing Director, Tata Steel Colors, said, “As India builds for tomorrow, industries and communities need materials that deliver on every front: longevity, design and environmental performance. Our goal is to provide access to advanced global solutions that can help Indian infrastructure set new standards on the world stage. Tata Steel Colors is proud to bring globally acclaimed solutions to the domestic and global market, empowering architects and builders to design for the future.”

The Colorcoat® roofing and wall-cladding portfolio is suited to a broad spectrum of applications, spanning metro and transit infrastructure, ports, warehouses, distribution centres, manufacturing and automotive facilities, commercial developments, defence infrastructure and institutional buildings. With the introduction of the range, Tata Steel Colors is looking to address the varied performance and aesthetic requirements of India’s evolving built environment.
