MAN Industries (India) Ltd has inaugurated its newly installed Spiral Mill for narrow-range pipes and an advanced Polyurethane (PU) Coating Facility at its manufacturing plant in Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh. This expansion, backed by an investment of approximately Rs 100 crore, has increased the company’s total production capacity from 100,000 TPA to 150,000 TPA, adding 50,000 TPA to its manufacturing output.
The new Spiral Mill allows MAN Industries to produce pipes ranging from 12” to 120” in diameter, an enhancement from its previous 28” to 120” range. This expansion is expected to meet the growing demand for high-quality narrow-range pipes used in critical sectors such as oil & gas, water transmission, and infrastructure development. Additionally, the company’s advanced PU Coating Facility, along with an upcoming 3 Layer Polyethylene (3 LPE) coating unit, will enhance the durability and corrosion resistance of its pipes, ensuring high performance across diverse environmental conditions.
The Spiral Mill is designed to meet industry standards for precision and strength, catering to high-pressure pipeline transmission systems. With improved production efficiency and reduced turnaround time, this facility strengthens MAN Industries’ position as a key supplier for infrastructure projects in India and internationally. The company is also progressing with its Saudi and Jammu plants to further expand its production footprint.
