JK Cement Ltd has initiated the construction of its upcoming greenfield cement plant in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, marking a significant step in its expansion strategy. With a proposed investment of approximately Rs 3,000 crore, the facility underlines the company’s intent to enhance capacity, strengthen its nationwide presence, and contribute to India’s infrastructure growth.
Spread across 525 acre, the plant is expected to be commissioned by early 2027. Its location has been strategically chosen for proximity to abundant limestone reserves, ensuring raw material security for the long term. The region’s closeness to high-demand markets in Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Haryana, coupled with a robust dealer and distributor network, is expected to further accelerate JK Cement’s market reach.
