Eicher Trucks and Buses, a business unit of VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV), has introduced the Eicher Pro X Diesel, strengthening its next-generation portfolio in the 2–3.5-ton Small Commercial Vehicle (SCV) segment. The new variant follows the debut of the Eicher Pro X EV at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo earlier this year, offering a diesel-powered alternative for customers and regions requiring conventional fuel solutions.
Leveraging over four decades of leadership in the commercial vehicle industry, the company aims to transform last-mile logistics with the Pro X Diesel. Co-developed with customers, the model has been positioned as an ‘Expert’ solution tailored for small businesses, fleet operators, and first-time buyers seeking enhanced performance, uptime, and ease of ownership.
The Eicher Pro X Diesel is powered by an all-new, purpose-built E449 X-Factor diesel engine, designed to deliver best-in-class fuel efficiency and power for superior drivability across varied terrains. The model comes equipped with the segment’s largest cargo deck (10 ft 8 in) and offers the longest service interval of 30,000 km, enabling customers to transport more goods per trip while reducing operating costs and improving profitability.

Tested extensively across diverse terrains, the Eicher Pro X Diesel is engineered to cater to multiple applications, including farm-to-market transportation, kirana and FMCG deliveries, e-commerce, perishables, and regional logistics. The model also focuses on enhancing driver comfort and safety.
