FPT Industrial, the Iveco Group brand has announced the appointment of AB Engineering and Systems Pvt Ltd (ABES) as its first authorized distributor in India. The partnership was formalized during the inauguration of ABES’s newly renovated office in Chennai, where the highlight of the event was the unveiling of FPT’s F28 engine, a compact and high-performance solution tailored for the construction and agricultural sectors.
Established in 2016 and headquartered in Chennai, ABES has rapidly evolved into a prominent player in industrial automation and engineering services. Through this partnership, the company will not only supply FPT’s globally acclaimed engines to OEMs across India but also provide comprehensive customer support through its newly launched brand, AB POWER, backed by a strong team specializing in application engineering and after-sales service.
FPT Industrial’s appointment of ABES as its distributor marks a strategic step in strengthening its footprint in the Indian market. The inauguration ceremony featured the ribbon-cutting and traditional lamp-lighting rituals, followed by the official presentation of the FPT authorization certificate to ABES. The evening concluded with a gala dinner that showcased the F28 engine, which offers compact power and versatility for off-road applications. Having been engineered to meet the newly introduced Bharat Stage CEV V emission standards, the F28 represents FPT’s commitment to delivering sustainable and future-ready powertrains for the Indian market.
