The collaboration, formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), aligns with PALFINGER’s long-term Strategy 2030+ and its plans to scale manufacturing and market presence in the country.

As part of its first phase of expansion, PALFINGER will invest Rs 350 crore to establish a manufacturing facility in Pune, targeted for completion by calendar year 2027. The collaboration brings together the capabilities of TVS Mobility Group’s key business verticals. TVS Supply Chain Solutions will anchor logistics and supply chain operations, including inbound movement from Austria, FTWZ operations and integrated warehousing, ensuring seamless material flow and distribution efficiency. TVS Smart Mobility will enable market reach through its dealership network of over 150 touchpoints across India, while also facilitating Vehicle-on-Demand and mobility solutions. TVS Automobile Solutions will manage aftermarket services, leveraging its nationwide parts distribution and service infrastructure to enhance equipment uptime and service responsiveness.

The partnership also includes plans to jointly explore opportunities in the defence sector, combining PALFINGER’s specialised lifting and equipment technologies with TVS Mobility Group’s operational expertise and supply chain capabilities.

R Dinesh, Director, TVS Mobility Group said, “This partnership builds on our existing relationship with PALFINGER and reinforces our role as an integrated mobility solutions provider supporting global equipment companies in India.
