New Holland has strengthened its agricultural equipment portfolio in India with the introduction of its new HD and XHD Series Rotary Tillers, broadening its range of mechanisation solutions for the domestic farming sector. The implements are manufactured at the company’s Pune facility and were unveiled during a product showcase held at its Greater Noida premises.
The latest additions reflect the company’s focus on addressing the evolving requirements of Indian agriculture, where demand for efficient and durable field equipment continues to grow across diverse soil conditions. The expanded implement range is designed to support improved land preparation while enhancing productivity and operational reliability.
The HD and XHD Series Rotary Tillers incorporate engineering features aimed at delivering consistent performance in challenging field environments. A larger swing diameter enables deeper soil cultivation and better conditioning, while a multi-speed gearbox allows operators to adapt machine performance according to varying soil types and farming requirements.
To improve durability and minimise maintenance, the rotary tillers are equipped with Metal Twin-Faced seals that help prevent water from entering the rotor hub, reducing wear on critical components. The machines also feature DTM paint technology to provide enhanced protection against corrosion, making them suitable for prolonged operation in wet and demanding agricultural conditions.
With the launch of the new rotary tiller range, New Holland continues to expand its locally manufactured farm equipment portfolio, reinforcing its commitment to supporting Indian farmers with advanced mechanisation solutions tailored to regional agricultural needs.
