PALFINGER expands FL range with launch of compact FLM 15 forklift

PALFINGER has introduced the FLM 15, completing its FL range of truck-mounted forklifts with a compact middle-seat model designed for modern logistics operations. Engineered for efficiency in tight spaces, the FLM 15 combines lightweight construction with precision handling, making it particularly suited for urban and confined delivery environments.

Available in both conventional and fully electric variants, the FLM 15 electric caters specifically to beverage and retail logistics, offering a quiet, low-emission alternative for operations with stringent noise and environmental requirements.

With a load capacity of 1.5 ton and a base weight starting at 1,420 kg (excluding forks), the model stands out as one of the lightest in its class. Its responsive drive system and refined controls ensure safe handling of delicate cargo such as glass bottles, while the compact mast and optimized wheel configuration enhance maneuverability.

“We listen to our customers very closely and consistently integrate their requirements into our product development,” says Gerhard Auer, VP Product Line Special Lifting Solutions, PALFINGER. “The FLM 15 is the result: lightweight, efficient and reliable. It combines controlled operation, low weight and maximum availability, making it precisely tailored to the needs of retail and beverage businesses.”

The FLM series is designed with operator convenience and safety in mind, featuring a centered elevated seat for improved visibility, externally routed hydraulic lines for a clear line of sight, and protective elements such as a wide roof and reinforced side panels.

The launch aligns with PALFINGER’s Strategy 2030+, aimed at enhancing customer value through innovation, sustainability, and lifecycle-focused solutions. “Solutions like the FLM 15 bring our strategy to life. We are pushing limits, setting trends and translating specific customer needs into smart lifting solutions, supported by the highest quality and sustainable services,” explains Alexander Susanek, COO, PALFINGER.

With availability across the EMEA region, the FLM 15 reinforces the company’s position in the truck-mounted forklift segment, supported by its diverse product portfolio and global service network.
