Om Power Transmission secures GETCO EPC order for 220 kV substation development

Om Power Transmission has been awarded a turnkey engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract by Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation for the development of high-voltage transmission infrastructure in Gujarat.

The scope of the project involves the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of 220 kV and 66 kV equipment, along with comprehensive civil works for the 220 kV Jantral Air Insulated Substation (AIS). Valued at approximately Rs 44.95 crore, the assignment encompasses complete end-to-end execution, covering system integration and commissioning to ensure efficient and stable grid operations.

Once completed, the project is expected to augment substation capacity and streamline power transmission across the region. The development aligns with the state’s growing industrial activity and increasing electricity demand, reinforcing the reliability of the transmission network.

This order further consolidates Om Power Transmission’s presence in Gujarat’s power infrastructure segment, reflecting its capabilities in delivering complex turnkey substation projects.
