Anant Raj commits Rs 20,000 crore investment for data centre expansion in Haryana

Real estate developer Anant Raj has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Haryana to develop large-scale data centre infrastructure in the state with a proposed investment of Rs 20,000 crore. The initiative is aimed at accelerating Haryana’s digital infrastructure growth and meeting the increasing demand for cloud computing, data storage and digital connectivity services.

The planned investment will supplement the company’s existing expansion strategy in the data centre segment. Anant Raj currently operates 28 MW of IT load capacity across its facilities in Manesar and Panchkula and has outlined plans to scale up its overall capacity to 307 MW across Manesar, Panchkula and Rai by FY2032.

The agreement was formalised during the rollout of the ‘Make in Haryana’ policy, which seeks to attract technology-driven industries and strengthen the state’s position as a major investment hub for digital infrastructure projects.

With the rising adoption of data-intensive technologies and cloud-based services, the proposed expansion is expected to contribute significantly to Haryana’s emerging role in India’s digital economy while supporting future-ready infrastructure development across the region.
