What are the milestones achieved by your company under your leadership?
We are specialized in indigenously developing and manufacturing equipment in the field of Vibration and wind
monitoring systems. We built the first Indigenous Dynamic Balance machine and today have more than 1,850 machines all over India and abroad. Similarly, ACD developed the first indigenous Electronic Vibration Switch (for CENTRFUGES and COOLING TOWERS) which could compete with foreign made Vibration Switches in quality and performance. Today we can boast of over 10,000 installations in prestigious projects
Apart from Vibration-instrumentation, today we are the only manufacturer in India manufacturing portable Air/Wind velocity meter and have sold over 3,000 instruments.
Tell us about the recently launched products and their winning technological features that will suit the Indian construction scenario.
We are continuously launching improvements to our products. For Excon 2019, we are launching the wireless version of our wind
monitoring switch. This will be especially useful for crawler cranes as it will eliminate the wire between the controller cabin and the moving crane boom.
Quality and pricing – how will you balance this equation to cater to a price-sensitive market?
We are constantly in touch with our clients, be it the OEM manufacturers or the end users to take product feedback from them. We are constantly upgrading our instruments to include the customer requirements.
The products are completely designed and manufactured by us. This is one of the main USP of our products as this enables us to provide timely and reliable customer support to our clients. This helps us in maintaining the delicate balance between quality and pricing.
Your viewpoint on the market demand dynamics. How do you foresee the future for the equipment manufacturers?
India is a country where people have a right mix of technical know-how and ingenuity. This has led to a good growth of local OEMs in India.
Globally people have started looking at Indian OEMs as providers of quality products at reasonable prices. This will definitely lead to a good growth for OEMs in India.
As far as your company is concerned, how well equipped are you to make deeper inroads into the market?
We are one of the few indigenous manufacturers for wind velocity and vibration monitoring equipment in India. The instruments are completely designed and manufactured by us. Considering the indigenous nature of our products and the service
support provided by us, we are the preferred supplier of these products in India
However, over the last many years we have come to know the customer’s preferences and the standard products required by them. Our current delivery time is approx. 3 weeks. In the coming year, we are planning to make our standard range available “OFF THE SHELF”.
