CM Chandrababu Naidu inaugurates Kurnool Airport

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu inaugurated Kurnool’s Orvakal greenfield airport. Naidu said world-class aviation infrastructure would be created by 2022 to ensure seamless air connectivity to regional, national and global destinations. Describing the Rayalaseema region as mineral-rich, it would be transformed into a preferred investment destination for economic development. Orvakal greenfield airport has been developed in a record span of just 18 months at a cost of Rs 88.5 crore on 1010 acres. We have established the new airport at Orvakal with our own funds to cherish the decade-long dream of the people of this district to have an airport. Now, people of the district can travel to Amaravati and other parts of India at ease as per reports.
