BharatBenz expands in Madhya Pradesh with PPS Trucking partnership

Daimler strengthens BharatBenz presence in Madhya Pradesh with new 3S dealership in Indore, partnering with PPS Trucking.

In a strategic move to fortify its position in Madhya Pradesh, Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Daimler Truck AG, has inaugurated a new 3S (Sales, Service, and Spares) BharatBenz dealership in Indore. The collaboration with PPS Trucking marks the 17th sales and service location for BharatBenz in the state, with the aim to cater to the burgeoning demand in the region.

Sreeram Venkateswaran, President, and Chief Business Officer (Domestic Sales and Service), Daimler India Commercial Vehicles, expressed the significance of Madhya Pradesh in their market strategy, stating, “Madhya Pradesh is an important market for us given the abundance of natural resources in the state. BharatBenz tippers are the most preferred by fleet owners operating in the mining sector, and Madhya Pradesh, being rich in minerals and coal, gives us tremendous opportunities to grow our tipper business.”

The dealership network spans across key locations in the state, including Indore (Rau), Bhopal, Jabalpur, Bela, Katni, Shivpuri, Singrauli, Chattarpur, Sagar, Manawar, and Gwalior. Complementing the 3S dealerships, there are six 2S (Service and Spares) and four 1S (Spares) facilities, strategically positioned to meet the diverse needs of customers throughout the region.

Rajiv Sanghvi, Managing Director, PPS Trucking, emphasised their commitment to providing a superior ownership experience, stating, “With the Best-in-Class products of BharatBenz coupled with our understanding of customer needs, we endeavor together to provide a superior ownership experience for our customers.”

The newly inaugurated PPS Trucking BharatBenz dealership in Indore sprawls over 51,000 sqft, contributing to the extensive service network in Madhya Pradesh. This network includes 15 Mobile Service Vans (MRVs) and 49 service bays, capable of servicing up to 24,000 vehicles annually. This infrastructure aims to ensure timely and efficient service delivery, enhancing the overall ownership experience for customers.

DICV’s vision for Madhya Pradesh extends beyond expanding the sales and service network. The company is committed to educating dealer and service staff about the unique needs of customers, emphasising unparalleled service quality. This approach aligns with DICV’s nationwide initiative to skill 8,000 service technicians, equipping them to service over 6 lakh vehicles annually.

The expansion in Madhya Pradesh reflects Daimler India Commercial Vehicles’ strategic focus on regional growth and commitment to meeting the evolving needs of customers in the commercial vehicle segment.
