In a groundbreaking stride toward sustainable transportation, Blue Energy Motors, has clinched a monumental deal with Container Corporation of India Ltd (CONCOR) to supply 100 LNG-powered trucks. This significant achievement underscores Blue Energy Motors’ pivotal role in steering the Green Trucking Revolution within the nation.

CONCOR, a Navratna PSU under the Ministry of Railways, is taking a bold step towards sustainability and decarbonization. By integrating Blue Energy Motors’ LNG-powered fleet of trucks into its strategic hubs, CONCOR is spearheading the transformation of its logistics operations, aligning itself with the government’s ambitious climate change goals.

Anirudh Bhuwalka, CEO of Blue Energy Motors, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “This is a significant step towards providing momentum to India’s green trucking revolution with our cutting-edge LNG-powered heavy-duty long-haul trucks. Our state-of-the-art LNG trucks will help CONCOR establish a more sustainable and environmentally conscious transportation ecosystem. Our green trucks are poised to lead up to a 30 per cent reduction in CO2 emissions within the CONCOR fleet while delivering higher productivity and lower total cost of ownership. Blue Energy Motors’ BE 5528+LNG trucks offer an innovative and effective solution to the pressing challenges of climate change. These trucks boast unmatched performance, a cutting-edge telematics system, and an ergonomically designed cabin for secure, comfortable long-distance travel with best-in-class Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). The BE 5528+ utilizes FPT Industrial’s (IVECO Group) multipoint stoichiometric combustion engine, ensuring best-in-class fuel efficiency and quieter operation than traditional diesel engines. It stands as the pinnacle of natural gas vehicles in the Indian market, boasting 280 horsepower and 1,000 Nm of torque. With the first 990-lt cryogenic LNG tank in its class, it achieves an astounding up to 1,400 km range on a single fill, effectively eliminating range anxiety concerns.
