Hindalco expands Eternia window systems business with flagship experience centre in Delhi

Hindalco Industries Ltd has strengthened its presence in the engineered aluminium window systems segment with the launch of Eternia’s flagship experience centre in Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi, while also expanding its manufacturing footprint in North India through a new facility in Bilaspur, Gurugram.

The move comes as demand rises for premium, performance-driven and system-based building solutions across India’s residential and commercial construction sectors. Hindalco’s Eternia brand, which offers high-performance aluminium windows and doors, has emerged as one of the fastest-growing players in the segment, recording nearly 65 per cent CAGR over the past three years.

The company has set a target of achieving more than Rs 1,000 crore in revenue by FY29, supported by category expansion, a growing channel-partner network and enhanced manufacturing capabilities. Eternia currently operates through over 170 channel partners across more than 100 cities.

According to Hindalco, India’s windows and façade market presents an estimated Rs 40,000 crore opportunity, with premium segments growing at nearly 15 per cent CAGR as consumers increasingly seek high-performance and design-oriented solutions.

Speaking on the launch, Satish Pai, Managing Director, Hindalco Industries Ltd, said the building and construction sector remains a key pillar of India’s growth story and offers significant opportunities for engineered, system-driven products. He noted that Eternia represents a shift from conventional fabrication-led windows to precision-engineered systems backed by proprietary materials, rigorous testing and integrated manufacturing.

The newly launched experience centre has been designed as an immersive retail space where homeowners, architects and developers can explore Eternia’s portfolio of premium aluminium windows and doors, along with various design and customisation options.

To support future growth, Hindalco has established a 120,000 sq ft manufacturing hub in Bilaspur, Gurugram. The facility will have the capacity to produce up to 250,000 sq ft of windows per month and is expected to improve delivery timelines for the rapidly growing North Indian market.

The facility also houses a dedicated research and development centre as well as a training centre aimed at enhancing the skills of fabricators and installers. Hindalco said the unit is expected to generate employment for more than 300 people while strengthening the company’s innovation and manufacturing capabilities.

Backed by Hindalco’s integrated aluminium value chain and manufacturing facilities across the country, Eternia is positioning itself as a key player in India’s transition towards premium, system-driven building solutions.
