The company marked the commencement of its cutting-edge grinding unit in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, with a foundation stone laying ceremony. The prestigious event witnessed the presence of Madhavkrishna Singhania, Deputy Managing Director and CEO, along with the senior leadership team.
This visionary project represents a substantial investment of approximately Rs 500 Crore and boasts an impressive total production capacity of 2.5 Million Tonne Per Annum (MTPA). Nestled strategically in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, this avant-garde facility not only elevates JKCement’s production capabilities but also charts a course for generating direct and indirect employment opportunities for the local community.

JK Cement’s strategic capacity expansion positions the company to cater to the evolving needs of a diverse customer base across key markets. With the establishment of the Prayagraj plant in Uttar Pradesh, the company is on track to surpass its set target of achieving a 25 MnTPA grey cement capacity by FY 2024-25. Additionally, a meticulously planned expansion is underway to reach 30 MnTPA in the medium term.
