KPTL bags new orders worth Rs 625 crore

India plans to link its power grid with Saudi Arabia and the UAE

Kalpataru Power Transmission Ltd (KPTL), a leading global EPC player in the power and infrastructure contracting sector, has secured new orders of Rs 625 crore. The details are as follows:

  • Orders from Africa in the power transmission business
  • Order for railway electrification in India
  • KPTL’s international subsidiary has secured new power transmission projects in Europe

Commenting on the new order announcements, Manish Mohnot, Managing Director & CEO, KPTL said, “We are delighted with the new order wins in our power transmission and railways business. The new orders in the T&D business provides us with a strategic entry in a new country in the African market, demonstrating sheer focus on strengthening our presence in key markets. Our order wins for 2020-21 has reached around Rs 8,500 crore at standalone level and has exceeded Rs 16,000 crore at consolidated level. Our diversified order book, robust execution capabilities and strong balance sheet position gives us confidence of growth from a long-term perspective.”
