The Ludhiana Smart City mission will soon begin second phase of installation of rooftop solar panels and under this government schools and colleges will be covered.
The Ludhiana Smart City Ltd and Punjab Energy Development Authority (PEDA) has signed an agreement wherein the latter will install rooftop solar panels while funding will come through Smart City Mission.
The total capacity of these rooftop panels will be around 800 kw and will cost Rs 4.03 crore.
