Ramco Cements authorises waste heat recovery plant at Jayanthipuram plant

The Ramco Cements, a cement manufacturing company, has commissioned 9 MW waste heat recovery power generating plant at its Jayanthipuram cement plant in Andhra Pradesh. The Jayanthipuram plant is in the process of installing two more nine MW waste heat recovery power generating plants which will be commissioned in months to come. The company is in the process of establishing a new cement plant at Kolumigundla in Kurnool district with clinkerisation capacity of 2.25 million tpa and cement manufacturing capacity of one million tpa. The project will also have a waste heat recovery system of 12.15 MW capacity. On commissioning the above-mentioned waste heat recovery systems, the company’s aggregate capacity of waste heat recovery plants will be 39.15 MW.
