Yamuna Int'l Airport gets financing from SBI of Rs 3,725 crore for Noida International Airport

The State Bank of India (SBI) has sanctioned a loan of Rs 3,725 crore for  development of Noida International Airport (NIA) in Uttar Pradesh which is being developed by Yamuna International Airport (YIAPL) and will be the second airport in the National Capital Region (NCR).  The airport is being developed in close partnership with the Government of Uttar Pradesh and the Central Government. YIAPL now looks forward to the conclusion of the Uttar Pradesh Government’s resettlement and rehabilitation process and start of construction of the airport. Zurich Airport International AG (ZAIA), a fully-owned subsidiary of Flughafen Zurich AG, is the main shareholder of YIAPL and is injecting Rs 2,005 crore into the development of NIA.
