In a strategic move to capitalize on the growth around the upcoming Jewar Airport, the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) is on the brink of presenting an extensive proposal for the acquisition of 1,100 hectare of land. The proposed land, earmarked for the development of a new residential sector dubbed ‘Sector-5,’ is poised to transform the landscape near the Noida International Airport.
YEIDA’s meticulous planning is slated to conclude by December 2023 or early January 2024, marking a crucial milestone in the creation of this upcoming residential enclave. Strategically situated in close proximity to the Noida International Airport and seamlessly connected to the Yamuna Expressway, Sector-5 is poised to become a prime residential destination. The directive to the land department of the authority signals the commencement of essential preparations for the impending development.
According to the proposal, YEIDA envisions dedicating 50 per cent of the acquired land for a visionary scheme comprising 2,000 residential plots within Sector-5. The anticipated launch of this residential venture is scheduled for the early months of 2024, adding a dynamic dimension to the real estate landscape. The remaining expanse will be allocated for the construction of group housing societies, ensuring a harmonious blend of individual residences and community living.
In a bid to enhance connectivity, YEIDA is set to facilitate a direct link between the Yamuna Expressway and Chola Railway Station in Bulandshahr district through Sector-5. This strategic move aims to bolster accessibility and further integrate the region into the burgeoning network of transportation.
Furthermore, YEIDA’s forward-thinking approach includes seamlessly integrating the proposed Sector-5 into the Master Plan 2041. This comprehensive incorporation, designed to align with the evolving needs of the region, precedes the final submission of the master plan to the state government for ultimate approval.
