Rotomotive Powerdrives India Ltd has appointed PL Muthusekkar as Director – Geared Solutions, reinforcing its leadership team as the company focuses on expanding its geared drive business across the Indian market. Based in Chennai, he will oversee the division’s business operations and drive growth initiatives nationwide.
The appointment brings to the company a professional with more than 35 years of experience across sales, business development, operations and strategic management. During his career, Muthusekkar has held senior leadership positions with several prominent industrial companies, including NORD Drivesystems, Bonfiglioli, Siemens, Polyhose and Hailstone Innovations. His expertise spans manufacturing, industrial automation, renewable energy and engineering solutions.
Rotomotive Powerdrives stated that his experience in business transformation, operational efficiency and organisational leadership will play an important role in strengthening the Geared Solutions division as it pursues its next phase of expansion.
Over the past two decades, Rotomotive Powerdrives has built a strong presence in the industrial power transmission segment by supplying motors, gearboxes and customised drive systems for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and industrial applications. Its product portfolio includes AC induction motors, geared motors, helical gearboxes, worm gearboxes and application-specific drive solutions developed using European technology and supported by stringent quality standards.
With the latest leadership appointment, the company aims to further enhance its market presence, strengthen customer engagement and accelerate the growth of its geared solutions business across key industrial sectors in India.
