The Adani Group, which took over the control of running Thiruvananthapuram International Airport in October 2021, has now plans to make it a world class airport. As a part of the investment plan, the group is on the verge of acquiring a state-of-the-art building located at close from the airport. Discussions have reached the closing stages and the deal is all set to be inked in taking over the building, which is presently a functional one.
The Adani Group which is also engaged in building the Vizhinjam Port in the state has now has drawn up plans to develop an existing water body that passes near to the airport to make sure that the airport is accessible through the water too.
