India to get 475 Vande Bharat Express trains by 2025

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has recently confirmed that India will get bullet trains by 2026, while the plan to have 475 Vande Bharat Express trains by 2025 is also on its way. Indian Railway is on its toes to deliver faster travel options to users. India has recently received a couple of semi-high-speed trains in the form of Vande Bharat Express. As per the reports, master plans for 138 stations have been made, while designs have been finalised for as many as 57 stations. India will be having a total of 475 Vande Bharat Express trains by 2025, which is three years from now. The plan for the production of these 475 trains in three years is also on track. The Vande Bharat has a design where the front portion is designed to dismantle thereby, only the front portion is dismantled adding that work on fencing is progressing rapidly and this will eventually address the problem. He has also said that close to 110 km of track has already been built and the train will be fully operational by 2026.
