Noida to acquire land for Delhi-Mumbai Expressway-airport link

The Noida administration has notified the acquisition of land for a spur road linking Delhi-Mumbai Expressway with the upcoming airport in Jewar, Uttar Pradesh. The link road will also lead to the DND and the Faridabad-Ballabgarh Bypass. The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) had asked the district administration to start work on acquiring private land chunks on its behalf. After taking feedback, the district administration will start a survey and the measurement process. The overall length of the spur road will be 31.2 km. A total of 8.1 km of the stretch will fall in the Jewar. The spur road had been finalised under the Bharatmala Pariyojana Scheme and was aimed at improving freight movement.
