Tata Power Solar Systems Ltd (TPSSL) has received a Letter of Award (LoA) worth Rs 1,755 crore for the installation of a 300 MW project Domestic Content Requirement (DCR) based EPC project in Rajasthan for state owned NLC India Ltd (NLCIL) as part of the CPSU scheme. NLCIL is a leading Public Sector Enterprise in the energy sector, with a significant share in both thermal and renewable power generation and large-scale lignite production. The project, located in Barsingar in Rajasthan, is expected to reduce 6 lakh tons of CO2 annually and generate over 750 million units of electricity. TPDDL will execute the project from design to commissioning and will also provide operation and maintenance services for three years following the commercial operation declaration (COD).
