NETZSCH Pumps & Systems has expanded its footprint in India with the inauguration of a new state-of-the-art production facility in Goa, marking a significant milestone in the company’s long-term strategy for the South Asian market. The new facility reinforces the global pump specialist’s commitment to strengthening regional manufacturing capabilities while supporting its expanding global production network.
Having operated in India for more than two decades, NETZSCH has steadily built a strong presence in the region. The new plant further enhances the local value chain and substantially increases production capacity to address the growing demand for advanced pumping technologies across South Asia.
Built on a site spanning approximately 45,000 sq m, the facility is designed to more than double the company’s previous manufacturing capacity. The expanded infrastructure will enable faster response to customer requirements while strengthening technical support and service capabilities in the region.
In addition to producing the well-established NEMO® progressing cavity pumps—manufactured locally for over 20 years—the new plant will also support the production of other pump technologies, including rotary lobe pumps, multi screw pumps, and peristaltic pumps. This broader manufacturing capability is expected to improve delivery timelines and enhance proximity to customers across the South Asian market.
The facility incorporates modern production and quality management processes along with enhanced engineering and development resources. These capabilities are intended to support greater operational flexibility while enabling the company to meet the evolving technical demands of the region.
